Today is the 2nd anniversary of the diagnosis of stage-4 bowel cancer. Humanly and naturally speaking, this year is year 3 of the 2-3 years the doctors predicted was my life expectancy upon diagnosis. As you can imagine, that thought can, if I let it, take me to all sorts of dark places. As much as you fight them, inevitably, they creep in, and I would not be being honest if I said they don’t.

BUT, GOD IS GOOD, HE IS FAITHFUL, HE HAS NUMBERED MY DAYS, NOT CANCER. HE IS MY HEALER, AND HE IS THE GOD OF THE IMPOSSIBLE AND OF MIRACLES, AND SO AS I ENTER 2025 AND THIS THIRD YEAR SINCE DIAGNOSIS, I BELIEVE THAT HE WHO IS ON THE INSIDE OF ME IS GREATER THAN THIS EVIL DISEASE! HE IS THE BIG C NOT CANCER.
