Saw my consultant yesterday … these are the highlights

1. I have responded well to the chemo and there are no new sites of cancer

2. The tumours on the liver and colon have shrunk significantly but have not disappeared entirely.

3. The nodule on the lung has also shrunk which may be a sign that it is cancer, but that is not conclusive at this point, so will be monitored.

4. They will be operating on the Colon Shortly and I will (I hope quickly) be getting a date for surgery.

5. I have an appointment with the cardiology consultant next Wednesday and my oncology consultant will be contacting him to see if we can get the Cardio Version procedure where the reset my heart moving more quickly. A surgery date for that will speed things up too.

6. I can have my PICC LINE taken out this Thursday too! (Very Happy About That)

I feel, as always, very peaceful about all of this, although not entirely the outcome I had hoped for, I would have preferred for cancer on the liver to have gone, it is now smaller and very operable which will probably be the next step after the colon surgery. God remains good, faithful and true and I am safe in his hands!
