As a Church we have spent the last 20 weeks over some 8 months looking that the life of the Christian as Jesus outlined in the Sermon on the Mount.

	Love Your Enemies Phil spoke on the command by Jesus to be radical in our love towards our enemies through our words, actions and prayers. This radical love demonstrates the love of the Father for all people and shows we are His children. This is the kingdom DNA. This love is supernatural and has to be first personally received and experienced before we can give it out. Its goal is to bring others into a relationship with the Father. 	Fasting Andy discusses Fasting as the lost weapon of Prayer. Looking at Jesus example, His expectation on Christians to fast. The examples of the Apostles and the Early Church demonstrated that fasting was clearly a part of their lives both individually and corporately. The Radical Life of the Normal Christian – Session 14
	Earthly or Heavenly Treasure Andy looks at our motives in the treasures we hold on to. Looking at money, possessions and eternity Andy examines how easy it is to pursue things, good things, even things like ministry and spiritual gifts, and allow them to become “Earthly Desires” as we slip away from God’s mission and glory and become focused on the prestige, status, power and recognition those gifts bring us. 	Don’t Be Anxious Jesus talks in Matthew 6 24 – 34 about worry and anxiety. This is a very relevant topic in today’s society where we are constantly bombarded with images and suggestions on how to look and feel better, be more attractive, more stylish, more successful , wealthier etc. etc. These images tug at our own desires and feed our natural selfish natures to the point where we can lose sight of the real treasure! 	Do Not Judge In this sermon Andy looks at how Jesus calls us to live as Radical Christians in the area of community together. Jesus challenges not judging in any context, but judging as a hypocrite. We condemn those who drive at 100mph, but are happy to drive at 80mph ourselves. It is this hypocritical judgment that Jesus condemns in this passage from the Sermon on the Mount. Judging each other is something that we readily do, sometimes without even thinking about it. Often we are very critical of others and very generous to ourselves Listen | Download

	Ask, Seek and Knock Tim spoke on how we ask God for something at the start but then we become more persistent and begin to seek Him about it. Finally we start to knock as it becomes something we really desire. Listen | Download

	False Prophets Andy speaks in this sermon about False Prophets and examines Jesus word to us to examine them and to test them by their fruit. He looks at the differences between O.T. Prophets and N.T. Prophets and how, under the new covenant God’s manifold wisdom is expressed through the entire church, not just in 1 Prophet, 1 Priest and 1 King as in the Old Testament. 	Wise and Foolish Builders Doug posed some questions, which we should ask ourselves to reveal the depth of our own foundations in the context of this passage. 	Who is this Teacher? Andy concludes the Sermon on the Mount series by asking the question “Who is this teacher”. In all other aspects of life the teaching is the most important things, but here Andy reminds us that we need to look to the teacher. If we are to live the Radical Life of the Normal Christian we must look to the source of the teaching and allow him to be our source and supply. We need him with us and in us.
